This very bizarre collaboration between Falco and singer/actress/model Brigitte Nielsen, then freshly divorced from Sylvester Stallone and trying to make it in the music business, is really one of the strangest things: the song was written and produced by Giorgio Moroder and released in 1987 to kick off Nielsen’s singing career and to be a comeback for Falco on the US market. Well, not too surprisingly, neither goal was achieved… But the song itself is very catchy and untypically hard rock for Falco. If you have time, watch the cheesy video on YouTube 😉
    There are three mixes here:

Great to have these rare mixes finally in good quality, thanks so much, Paul!

A little info about the mixes you find here:

    1) The ‚Dance Mix‘ which speeds the vocals from both artists up a bit to create a fast and danceable version of the song.

    2) The ‚Extended Rock Version‘ (although it is not noted on the cover that it’s the extended version apart from the running time) is bascially a longer version from the single mix.

    3) And finally, the ‚Extended Other Version‘ (although here too, the cover tells nothing about the extended version apart from the running time), which has never been released on CD! Named „The Sexy Version“ on early promos, you can easily hear why they chose the name…

    Dirk Reply:

Yes, i do, Falco was a very sexy man 😉

    Michael Reply:

@dirk: i guess i have seen it mainly from a male point of view… 😉

  6. Danny Says:

    Never know about this…

If I may, requesting for Falco’s Wiener Blut 12″ promo.

    Thank you.
