By any chance you will also rip the 12″ Remix on US 12″ single? I’ve been looking for that version in the good quality for ages. My vinyl is way too old to have a clear sound.

Okay, I am slowly coming back to life.
Superb post Paul. I’ve been waiting for this one more than a year now. I am not able to download it tonight (it’s 23:30 hours in Holland at the moment), but the first thing tomorrow I will be clicking on that FLAC button! Can’t wait.

This track is one of their best songs. Great production, rich orchestration, really a joy to re-listen over and over again. So curious to find out what Bruce Forrest and Frank Heller did with the song.
There’s another 12 inch which got a release in the US and Canada only: Mercury ‎870 015-1. That one has the World Travel Mix and an instrumental edit on the B-side, also made by the same remix duo. I am quite sure you’ll have that one in your modest collection too 🙂 Would be awesome, Paul. It really would.

For now, many thank you’s coming your way.

BerEEEElianT!!! Have these only as mp3 for the longest time and so glad to upgrade to Lossless now, much thanks to you!*BIG HUG!*
Do you know how boring my life would be without you and BTG?
Can’t wait for your US 12″ Remix!!!

For those into trivia, the original title for this song was “Tomorrow’s Dream”. And if you can believe him, Martin Jackson said the song was “taught” to him by aliens after a UFO landed on his roof!!!

    DjPaulT Reply:

Thank you Ric for the kindness my friend I appreciate your BTG loyalty. Big Hug back to you!

Oh and thanks for the trivia I may use it on on the 12″ Version post 🙂

  16. Vermillion Says:

Thanks very much for this – a very rare set of mixes from a great band. Some of a number of US mixes that were left off the expanded reissue of It’s Better to Travel last year, which is a shame as most of them were pretty good. Look forward to the posting of the 12″ version as well – I had this mix on a battered copy of the Canadian 12″ of Twilight World years ago and from memory it was the best mix of the track out there!

OMG Paul! I am a fan of SOS and i have been reading a lot of wonderful things about this release on the Breakout thread. Certainly not familiar with this promo so I am quiet excited after reading poster’s review.

Thank you so much for this rarity. Happy Thanksgiving in advance!

Again, Paul, I must thank you for ripping and posting this. You have saved me a lot of trouble, as the vinyl rips I did years ago have mysteriously vanished and it would have been a MAJOR pain to have to re-transfer these hard-to-find mixes.

If I could be bold enough to make one more request: If you happen to have SOS’s “Waiting Game” remixes and are willing to share them, I would be eternally grateful!
