Totally forgot this second single from the son of Motown founder and CEO Berry Gordy. I think I prefer the first single a bit more.
But nevertheless nice to hear it again.

    Thanks Stefano 🙂

Many thanks for this one, Paul. This song has faded into obscurity and it’s great to see it getting some recognition. I’ve never even seen it on any 80’s compilations on CD. Never understood why it didn’t get higher on the charts after having such a huge previous hit.

    DjPaulT Reply:

You’re welcome Da. Maybe it didn’t chart due to the lack of Michael Jackson being involved. I think it’s a fun track and I was happy to bring out of the vaults 🙂

I’m so glad you brought it out of your vault, Paul!
I have this 12″ but to find an mp3, not to mention FLACs, is almost impossible on the net!
I loved this and Somebody’s Watching Me. Bordering on being novelty records but not cheesy at all.
I agree that the absence of MJ resulted it being a lesser hit.
    Thank you Thank you!

Hey DJ PaulT, first of all thanks for all the great music you share. I wonder if you have or heard Rockwell’s “Peeping Tom” maxi single? not a big charter I know, but it brings a lot of good memories to me.

    Sco79 Reply:

I agree, that Peeping Tom maxi would be fantastic!

    Hey Paul!!!

Thanks for ripping this classic by Rockwell. Almost forgot about this one as I haven’t heard it since my college days on our radio station. Thanks again for including its flip-side too. Although not as interesting as other B-side dub/instrumental mixes, it’s so great that you include these versions which are virtually ignored when compiling CD’s of lost dance music. You are magnificent DJ Paul. Again, can’t thank you enough for your dedication, time, energy and love for these lost mixes. By-the-way Paul, do you ever sleep? I mean, WOW and OH-MY-GOD!!!! I think I read in one of your blogs that it takes you about a day to rip and remaster these twelves. UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABE!! But, this is what makes your work so stunning and addictive and the ultimate GODSEND!!! Words can’t even come close to express mine and others’ gratitude over what you do.

And thank you for your re-rips as well. There’s a ton of music that I’ve missed and it’s excellent that you are bringing them back to those (ME!) who’ve missed it the first time.

    You’re the absolute Best DJPaulT!!!
