When someone first loaned me a cassette with album versions of these songs, I was fascinated. I was only 15 y/o so didn’t quite kno what to think of her. I never would have dreamed any were released as singles, much less 12″ extended single. I am pleasantly surprised and grateful for this rare treasure. Thank you DJ Paul.

You’re welcome Nathan. Funny how our taste in music changes as we get older. When I was a tenn I didn’t like her music guesse i didn’t understand it. But now I absolutely love it 🙂

I’m REALLY enjoying this 12″! I used to have most of her releases on LP years ago prior to my big LP sell off while switching to CD. I wasn’t aware that this was released and hadn’t a clue of her connection with Peter Gabriel.

I was hoping you’d get to this one, a true favorite of mine. (I actually used to play it in the clubs when it first came out—not often though, and I stopped spinning in 1985). As far as I know these mixes are unique (my promo version had a plain vanilla cover) and haven’t made their way to CD yet.

I had seen her earlier “Big Science” tour and didn’t care for it–thought she was a bit of a poser–but the MR. HEARTBREAK album really turned me around, and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert she put on to promote this record. And she’s still touring! Thanks for making my day.

Hi Paul, I’ve been after this Laurie Anderson promo for ages. But it won’t download for me. Username and password don’t work. Is it because I’m using Internet Explorer?

Sorry for the last post. It downloaded, I was impatient! I am so rapt. Thankyou so very much.
