Hi Paul, you are always good for a surprise. Thank you for bringing this forgotten gem to light!

BTW on a personal note and out of curiosity: do you respond to request e-mails or do you just read them and consider them on your terms?

    [Reply]

    DjPaulT Reply:

    Hi Simsalabim,

I get many emails everyday and I try to respond to them but sometimes I don’t get around to it. Request that are accompanied by a donation are usually priority requsts. I f I don’t happen to have it I use the donation to buy a copy then I rip it and post once I receive the record. If a request is made without donation and I don’t have it I will usually email you and say hey I don’t have this but if you want to donate I will be happy to buy a copy. If it’s a requst without donation I check my collection and if I have it I put it on my list of requests and I try to get to it as soon as I can. Hope I wasn’t too confusing. Have you requested something that I didn’t respond too?

    simsalabim Reply:

No, that wasn’t too confusing. Thank you, now i know how you operate with requests.

    Well… That was different… 🙂

I’m thinking this must have been more popular in certain areas of the U.S. than in others, because I swear I’ve never heard of this one before…

What a fun track this was, and still is. It sort of became the anthem at a club also called New York here in Munich. I still have the 12”, I also have the album on vinyl. What a shame that “Angstlos” ist still not available on CD, not in German. I guess this goes to prove that the prophet is wothout honor in his own country. Nina Hagens music deserves better than this.
