Excellent Disco Friday post! Rockin’ disco: yeahhh! Jim Burgess did some fine remixes. This mix is one of those.

Next Friday I vote for the absolute great special disco mix of ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’, done by the same Jim Burgess. Contains new vocals by Rod Stewart, specially recorded for this 12 inch in 1978. Never ever been released on CD, so we, once again, are totally depending on you Paul 🙂

Nice weekend to you and to all the BTG’ers.

    Paul,

I’m not sure is it only me or are there some more people who are regular visitors of your blog. I am experiencing DL problems in past couple of weeks, since you posted Peter Gabriel’s Big Time. I wasn’t able to DL non of your posts since then. It’s gonna start but would just stuck between 1% and 46%. I have tried several times 3 or 4 more recent posts but no success. It won’t resume DL as well.
    Please advice.

Jim Burgess one of my top favorite re-mixers of the late 1970’s. I have never heard a bad one yet. I will say I think knowing what his talents were even years before this mix, he didn’t over remix this one…Still the only version of this classic to listen to. Listening to again..He did a great job. Thanks DjPaulT very nice transfer.
