I remember reading that Freddie distanced himself from Michael after Michael’s “weird” reports surfaced…oxygen tank and all.
Dunno if that had any bearings in Mick being the replacement.

You’re welcome Ric. In my opinion I think this song would have done much better had Freddie Mercury been on the track as originally intended. Still a great one from 84 up against some stiff competition.
