Cool post. Got ahold of this song (5-minute version) in July after not having heard it since the ’80s. Thrilled to have the extra versions.

Wow, this one brought back a lotta memories =D
If you have the remixes for “Who Says?”, please post them too.
DEVICE’s always a good choice when it comes to 80′s music.
Excellent choice, Paul!!!
Greetings from Brazil…

Holly Knight can really belt her tunes, but too bad that her success came mostly as a songwriter. Still, we have this Top 40 hit of hers to remind us of her pipes!
Thanks for retiring my 12″ vinyl for this, Paul!
And Olivia would’ve definitely made the list if she had an extended for that particular single eh?

Hi Ric,
Yeah I toyed with the idea of posting Olivia’s “Heart Attack” just so folks would have it in 24 bit and the artwork. But I think I have talked myself out of it. Seems like it would have been smart for MCA to release an extended version but sadly it didn’t happen

there’s been a definite theme lately…just wondering how your heart scare has turned out?
hope all is well and you make a full and speedy recovery…off the topic, i loved the a few best men soundtrack..any news if any of the songs will be released unmixed…while i was thrilled to hear anything livvy…i would love to hear her take on some of those oldies with a strictly pop take. thanx again for all the hard work you do.
hugs,terry

Hi Terry,
I love that soundtrack too! Livvy really needs to do a new album with John Farrar again he has worked Magic for her over the years. I have not heard anything about the “A Few Best Men” tracks being released unmixed although that would be cool. “Weightless” ofcourse is the stand out track that I wish would have gotten pushed more to radio and maybe an official video with Livvy actually in it lol. I know the film “A Few Best Men” has been released in the UK I hope it get’s to come to the US at some point but it’s kinda not looking that way. Would have been nice for the film to be in theaters during the US tour.
So far so good. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and everything looked good. Will have to wear the heart monitor for the next 30 days. Will be going to see ONJ on Oct 3 in Norman Oklahoma should be fun
