BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1985
Re-Rip Remaster + Bonus Track
Originally I posted this one back in January of 2011. But for those who may have missed it or if you are a new reader just discovering BTG. I decided to give this one a new rip with my newer equipment. This 12″ is also being posted in 24 bit flac for the very first time! Aside from re-ripping the Japanese 12″ I also included as a bonus track the “Instrumental Version” of “My Heart Goes Bang (Get Me To The doctor)” taken from the UK 12″ (Epic – QTA 6571).
“My Heart Goes Bang (Get Me To The Doctor)” is the fourth and final single from Dead or Alive’s second studio album Youthquake. It charted at #23 in the United Kingdom, #41 in Australia and became a huge dance hit in the U.S.

Is Thompson Twins’ “Doctor! Doctor!” next by any chance? There’s a great fan mix by Micky Dodds out there if you want to add any extras.
Just so you know, I’ve had to wear a Holter Monitor several times in my life, once as part of a stress test, so I know your anxiety. I remember worrying if I got it wet while showering that I would electrocute myself. In the end, it was a relief to get it off, although the tape residue took longer to get off my skin.
That reminds me – if you still have tape residue that hasn’t sloughed off yet, head to a surgical supply store and ask for “Adhesive Tape Remover Pads”. They look like alcohol pads, but take the residue off instead. Get the ones from PDI if you can. They’re the best brand.

Hi Goodguy. Don’t have any plans for “Doctor Doctor” at this time. I think I have the Romeos US 12″ but I will have to check. When I shower I leave the pads on but disconnect the monitor I was told it’s ok to do that by the nurse. I have had a bit of a reaction to the pads causing a rash though. Hope I can stand this thing for another 3 weeks lol.

Oh, definitely ask them for the pads when it’s removed, and be sure to buy them if they don’t have any to give you at the office. It’s the only way to go. That gloop is gone in minutes.
Trust me. You don’t want to forget it’s there and hear “Ew” from your significant other at an inopportune moment!

Hi Paul!
Good to hear all good from the doctor’s visit.
I was actually revisiting your older posts for the 24bit updates recently but couldn’t find any for this. And then here you are, doing it today! And re-ripped too!
Thank you!
BTW, I left a comment (it was comment #4) on your Soft Cell post yesterday but couldn’t find it today. Did you manage to see it?

Hi Ric you’re welcome. I didn’t ever see a comment from you on the Soft Cell post. Usually I get an email whenever someone leaves a comment but for some odd reason yours don’t ever get sent to my email. I usually have to go to the post to see your comments. Are you positive it was posted? Maybe you forgot to press submit. If it had any links or anything in it the spam filter might have snagged it. Try leaving it again if you want

Yes, I am positive it was posted. I remembering seeing the number 4 next to my comment.
It’s very strange indeed. And I remember asking you to delete a double entry before when I only submitted a reply once.
The cyberspace doesn’t like me eh? LOL!
