Thanks for posting this. I’d love it if you could post A Trick Of The Night (Number One Mix) which didn’t make it during your Bananarama-rama last year. That track appears on their Twelve Inches Of Bananarama collection, but it clearly comes from vinyl source and has tons of audio problems.

Wow, there are two different Megarama ’89 12″ mixes, but didn’t know there is this other Megamix. I can’t wait to take a listen!
Thank you Paul for another 12″er that I wasn’t aware of!

Thanks for posting this!
And just in case: To celebrate their 30th anniversary, a definitive Bananarama hits collection was released in late July. Ho hum – except this comes with a DVD that includes 33 videos and extended versions of their videos for Venus and I Can’t Help It. Thought I’d pass the information along to the other fans.
By the way, DjPaulT – awesome job on an awesome blog.

‘I Heard A Rumour’
…is one of my all time favourite pop songs. Genius melody. The Beatles would have loved that song.

Well I can say that this Megamix was once released on DMC in 1988.
Megamixer Alan Coulthard.
Those were the days when DMC made great remixes & megamixes.
From 1985 to 1990. After that some gems might have just pure luck to become classics.

I got my copy still intact.
