You’re welcome Bob I have been meaning to post this one for a long while now. Yeah some of that stuff is over priced. The “12″ Extended Mix” is also on the “I Need Love” CD Maxi from 1992 but is also quite expensive. I think you will be very happy with this rip I hope

Hi Paul, very nice addition to the ONJ section. Finally we get a quality rip of the 7″ version and the instrumental. I’m still hoping you re-rip the earlier ONJ posts with your new stylus and software. ONJ is more or less the heart of your blog, she deserves the best quality….

The Rumour is also true that she’ll grace us with her presence in San Francisco on 9/13, our first time to see her and we’re equally excited. I’m equally happy that you’ll get to see her in October.
Btw, I still remember the day you posted ‘Twist of Fate’ and ‘(Livin’ In) Desperate Times’ which just made my day.
Thank you very much for this post.

MusicdivaSF will you be going to the show? I am very excited the last time ONJ was in Oklahoma was in 2004 so I cannot wait until October 3. Seeing Olivia live is a rare and awesome treat. I am probably going to post that 12″ with an updated rip very soon

Oh yes! I’m going and this will be my very first time to see her and like you, I’m equally excited to finally see her. I watched snippets online of her recent shows and, of course, she’s awesome. She’s so awesome that she even got the crowd to sing with her.
So yes, I’m looking forward to seeing her here in SF on 9/13 and I’m glad that you’ll get to see her also in October. We’re simply hopelessly devoted to her.

What a great song, the remix definately improves on the original. If it was released a couple years earlier it would have been a big hit.

Totally agree with you Spinny. I also never understood why the 7″ single contained the album version insted of the 7″ Mix. The video was the same way. Seems it may have done a little better if the 7″ mix would have been used instead.

Do I smell a Livvy series? Wooooooooo Weeeeeeeee!
I agree that the break between Soul Kiss and The Rumour is way too long to sustain any interest.
And with that star-studded credit, you’d expect more from the album version.
Thank goodness for Shep’s magic touch to turn it into a club stomper!
Thanks Paul for another vinyl replacement!

DjPaulT, thank you so much for posting this Olivia remix. I think this is one of Olivia’s best songs and I always thought it should have done better on the charts than it did. I loved that Elton produced, played piano and sang back up on the song. Love the video too! I think it’s the best Olivia has looked and it was a lot of fun. A great song!

Conner I just downloaded the file and it opened correctly for me. Maybe try downloading it again and make sure it finishes completely. It may have gotten corrupted during transfer. Please let me know if it works
