Another huge favorite of mine from ’85. You have been taking me back to my Freshman year–one of my favorite years ever: first bf, first kiss, George Michael haircut (back when I had hair) Can’t wait to get this one! Thanks!

You’re welcome Conner. My first kiss and dance were in ’85 too. First dance was Wham! “I’m your Man” at the Wreck room after hours club in Oklahoma City.Great memories

Thanks a million Paul ! I always liked the ext. mix better. Kinda confused about the track timing though ? The Indiscriminate Mix here clocks in at 6.12 min where as on Bangs & Crashes compilation it’s at 6.40 min.

Hi Omar according to Discogs. The US 12″ version is 28 seconds shorter than the UK version of this mix (a section is edited out as opposed to an early fade). They must have used the UK Mix for “Bangs & Crashes”.

Yay, Go West Week! Or, well, if it ends up just being two in a row, that’s still pretty awesome! If “We Close Our Eyes” helped me confirm in my own mind I was gay, this song takes me back to the summer where I first tried to act on it.
Thanks, Paul!

Maybe we should have a whole week of coming out songs. Lol. For me it was Billy Idol’s “Sweet Sixteen”. Yep i was at that tender age when i knew i wasn’t like the rest.

Wonderful song,
it takes me back to a brighter sun, every human sense was more in focus, those were unforgettable days…
Thanks a lot for these wonderful rips, once again, Paul !

“No time to hesitate, we must communicate…”
Love the Blue-eyed Soul of Peter Cox, and the melodious dance pop tunes they produce.
I have the UK 12″ and the Bangs And Crashes CD so much thanks for the US version, Paul!
