Wow, I am impressed and completely shocked that this release actually exists. Impressed that you came across a copy. Secondly, I was (and still am) a huge fan of DOA, and I collected every bit of vinyl I could get my hands on. Believe me, I had a massive collection, but never came across this but only on a rare megamix that included the exorcist samples. Thank you so much for posting this one. How in the world dis you get your hands on so much rare stuff. Impressive, most impressive. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! More DOA please…dig deep!

You’re welcome Johnathan. I actully bought this on Ebay a few years ago and I paid a steep price for it. It’s worth it though and is one of my favorite DOA treasures. I think I may have the Megamix you are talking about. I think it was done by Megatraxx.

That is the one Sir…. That is the one. So Riddle me this Paul, was there ever a Japanese only 12″ issued for “Son of a Gun”??? Rumor bin from back in the day said there was. But I NEVER saw anything like that. Again, Thank you and I really do appreciate your work here. Very compelling and brings me back to the days I either worked in a record store all the way back to when I dreamed of working in one… total nostalgia! Have a great day.

Not aware of a 12″ for “Son Of A Gun” but there is a Japanese 7″ which i am sure you already know about. I always loved that track. I always dreamed of runing my own record store but it never happened. This blog is pretty close though

Hi Paul, not sure about the proper place to post a request, so please excuse the clutter. I was wondering if you could post any of your OLJ/ELO Xanadu-related vinyl here, including the French 12″ Promo that you posted a couples years back on your other site. Would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike.
