Whenever I hear this song it brings me back to 1986, and I’d think of all the other movie hits, with Billy Ocean’s When The Going Gets Tough (The Tough Gets Going) coming to mind. 😉 Cannot wait to hear this 12″ version of Who’s Johnny! Thanks Paul! Chwee (in Nashville)

You’re welcome Chwee. Hope you are having fun in Nashville!

Good ole movie hits from the 80s…always dependable, even 80s flop movies gave us amazing hits, what more the hit movie Short Circuit!

    Steve Guttenberg ALERT! LOL!

Another 12″ vinyl to retire thanks to you, Paul!
The 12″ remix for this is excellent, and I especially love the cold end of this song, with the climatic buildup.

This song and singer remind me of British pop group Scritti Politti. This song comes to mind:

Oh Patti (Don’t Feel Sorry For Loverboy)

    Glenn S. Reply:

I’ve always thought this sounded like Scritti Politti too. Glad to know I wasn’t the only one.

woaaahh, what a treat! Paul, this is a great, uplifting find! THX 4 this one! I love the 80’s Pop & RnB stuff. El is one special singer with a significant voice.

Do you happen to have the 12″ of Sherrick “Just Call” 1987? ..puts me in the same mood!

Anyway, thanks for your awesome, quality uploads! 🙂
