Love this song, although I think the US dance mix worked much better in discos than this version, which is ax extension of the album mix.

  4. jbirdp Says:

Yeah — maybe the U.S. mixes of this one too. Thanks again!

    DjPaulT Reply:

Hey Jbird sorry don’t have the US mixes at this time but I will try get a copy.

    VanceMan Reply:

I think there was only one US mix; I’m 99% sure the b-side “dub” was the same as the British edition. I’ll go digging and check.

    DjPaulT Reply:

Thanks VanceMan i’m not as up on my Lene as I should be so not really sure of the differences in the versions. The “Dub” is not even listed on the sleeve or labels of this 12″.

Lene is so under-rated. I thought I had most everything by her, but apparently I was wrong. Thank you.

I always liked Lene Lovich. Her song New Toy (written by Thomas Dolby) was her best. She sounded a lot like Nina Hagen hence their duet Don’t Kill The Animals was no surprise. Paul could you also post some Nina Hagen stuff please ?

    DjPaulT Reply:

Hi Omar I have a couple Nina Hagen singles that I am planning to post 🙂

Thank you Paul for yet another fine vinyl rip.

I didn’t know this one, but it instantly became my favorite by Lene Lovich.
Man, how I miss the 80’s…

Thanks for this AMAZING post! Once again you have come through with rare goods!
BTW, I have the US 12″ and it is just the 12″ Dub mix you have included here. The B side was an extended mic of Blue Hotel.

    Hi all,
This song was originally released by Dutch band The Meteors in 1979. The song also appeared in the cult movie Cha Cha and there’s your link with Herman Brood, Nina Hagen and… Lene Lovich !
    Check it out.

Wow – Keep em Coming ! mr DJ
When I asked about Lene Lovich
    I wasn’t quite sure you’d get this response !
    I was just curious = Becuse ‘somewhere-somehow’
I have an mp3 of Lene singing [what I assume is ‘her’ version]
    ‘Supernature’
I thought of it as a Cerrone ‘tune’
(The lyrics to “Supernature”, written by Lene Lovich, c Wiki)
    and just wondered ‘if’
    there were any ‘other mixes’
    DMC-Razormaid-Disconet-etc versions around
    but excellent stuff any-ways xx

    [Reply]

    DjPaulT Reply:

Adam I know Lene did not release a 12″ for “Supernature” I will have to do some research on the remix services.

Love the Lene Lovich posts and It’s You is my favorite! But I never knew the UK 12″ was a different mix than the US/Canadian ones. Cool to have.

As far as remix services I know of these:

    It’s You (Razormaid Class-X)
    Wonderland (Art Of Mix)
    Wonderland (Disconet)
    Hairdresser Medley (Razormaid Members Revenge)

I really loved (and still love) the No Man’s Land album, I don’t think it got nearly the credit it deserved. Some of the (non-single) album tracks are fantastic. Thank you for posting this 12″.
