BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1982
Released in 1982 by Stiff Records “Blue Hotel” was the second single lifted from the Lene Lovich LP No Mans Land. The single failed to make any impact on the US charts but did peak at #100 on the German Media Control Charts.
This 12″ contains great mixes by M & M and Bob Clearmountain.

Ms. Lovich is one of those ‘never had enough ca$h to buy all the record’s I want’
Artists – I was ‘sure’ that she was ‘better’ than her 1 ‘hit’.
And have slowly heard a few of her songs over time.

I’ve tried in the past to get into Lene’s music but to no avail. I suppose it’s just a case of chemistry between me and her…LOL!
Still, I’m glad many others enjoyed your postings, Paul.
Never heard the M+M remix and I’m curious, who knows, this might be the one for me!
