WOW love that – thanks for my request 🙂
now i would love the “Married Men” & “Big Noise from Winnetka” 12″ promos 🙂 hugs Marc

You’re welcome Marc. The “Big Noise” US 12″ Promo is not a remix it is the standard 6:56 album version on both sides so I probably will not post it.

    Marc Reply:

Mhm i always thought the 12″ of “Big Noise” is a remix, i have the 7″ and that certainly IS a remix. I always assumed that they made a long remix and edited the 7″ single down from it like with “Married Men”

well in those days some songs were never labeled as remix or so 🙂 we can pray that it’s a remix 🙂 can’t wait for the upload

    DjPaulT Reply:

They more than likely just edited the 7″ from the album version since it was a nearly 7 min song.

    Marc Reply:

Nope they didn’t i can send you a rip of my 7″ tomorrow – its definetely a remix a slight one

    DjPaulT Reply:

Thanks so much! I didn’t realize that “Knight In Black Leather” was a remix. I’m looking forward to hearing it. Is “Big Noise” a remix as well?

    DjPaulT Reply:

Hi Jbird I have the “Big Noise” 12″ Promo it is only the 6:56 album version on both sides.

  6. jbird D Says:

For clarification: this is a shortened album version of “Hang On In There Baby but an extended version of “Knight In Black Leather.” The album version of “Knight” runs 4:53. There is a rare promo 12″ version of Bette’s “Strangers In The Night” from “Songs For the New Depression” with an extended version (4:17) on it and the extended 12″ version of “Married Men.” Who doesn’t LOVE Bette?

    [Reply]

    DjPaulT Reply:

The only other one I have is the US 12″ promo of “Married Men” with 7:58 and 5:32 versions. .

    jbird D Reply:

Please post it, Paul. Thanks so much.

    [Reply]

    Marc Reply:

To clarify this too 🙂 the version of “Hang On In There” is indeed edited, but it does include an extra corous. This version can NOT be reproduced by simply editing the album version! i will check later where in the album version the extra corous would fit 🙂

Her songs! Her movies! Her ditsy wit (oxymoron?)!
She is quite the queen of covers too!
btw, was there ever any extended or remix for You’re Moving Out Today? That is one of my early Bette faves.
