Jane Marie Genevieve Wiedlin (born May 20, 1958) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and actress. She is best known as the rhythm guitarist of the all-female New Wave band The Go-Go’s.

“Blue Kiss” was the lead single from her self-titled debut album Jane Wiedlin. The single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in September of 1985 peaking at #77. “Blue Kiss” can be heard during the frat house party scene in the film Night of the Creeps (1986).

There were two versions of a music video produced for this song – one was not released, the other features Jane playing her guitar and singing in the back of a truck traveling a backroad.

Poor Jane was never able to get out of Belinda’s shadow, but she put out some great music as a solo artist. I thought her debut album was brilliant, and still listen to it quite a bit.     I agree with many fellow followers here…Jane is underrated. I was mesmerized when I first heard her wee vocals on Our Lips Are Sealed.
    Shame only Rush Hour got any real proper chart action. Inside A Dream was her other gem, like Blue Kiss, that got away.
