The single was the follow-up to her number one R&B hit, “Oasis”. “Uh-Uh Ooh-Ooh Look Out (Here It Comes)” stalled at number thirty-seven on the U.S. R&B singles chart, failing to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Yesss, what a way to end the working week.
Can’t tell how many times I played the Steve “Silk” Hurley mix back in the days. The reversed percussion…mmmmmm…like it.
My copy is totally worn out. Thanks Paul for a crystal clean digital version.
    Have a uh-uh ooh-ooh nice weekend !!

  7. Trent Says:

That is so freaky! Only 2 days ago while going through Steve Hurley’s remix credits and purchasing this track on iTunes and then it pops up here too!

  8. ric Says:

A flawless singer + a beautiful song + a couple of hot remixes
= A winning Burning The Ground weekend post

Already have the Hurley remix (which is excellent) for years but a crystal clear version of the Baker remix is so hard to come by…until now. Awesome!

Her Oasis album is also very good, and that Killing Me Softly With These Songs compilation is an excellent antithesis to the notion that vocal histrionics equates Soul.

    Thank you Paul!

    Thank you so much!
