It is a shame that this song could only make it to Top 40 in the US. Still, Carmen had another monster hit Hungry Eyes later, which did him some justice for being such an awesome singer songwriter. This song holds a special place in my heart, like many tunes from the mid 80s. ~ Chwee

Hi Paul, I am glad you are feeling better and that OK has more moderate weather (I hope)! here in Ohio we have our first supper sunny day in a long time, so I’m going biking. I’m not sure what the difference is, but your last few posts, especially Sade have sounded awesome! Some upgrades! I have a small donation coming your way this week, just to say thank you! No requests, I like being surprised! I am STILL playing “You’ll Never Know” almost every day. That is a perfect song!

    Hi Steve,

Nice to hear from you. Yeah the weather is drastically different this week than last week. About a week or so ago we had blizzard conditions with 14″ of snow with even higher drifts, the temperature set an all-time record of -24 degrees. Today the temperature is in the 80’s and sunny feels just like spring. This has been the wackiest winter(lol). As far as the rips sounding better lately I have been trying some new cleaning products so that may be helping. A major part of it is simply the vinyl pressing some vinyl is pressed better than others. I am so happy that you are still diggin’ Hi Gloss “You’ll Never Know” it’s one of my favorites.

    Take care my friend.
