Yeah, that also made me twitch…it probably made it to that position in the U.S. but on the dance charts.

Paul, You’re really pulling out a bunch of gems this Halloween…I love it!
This is such a fun song, and it reminds me of a couple songs from the 70s and 80s. Listen closely, as there’s a short a guitar riff towards the beginning of the Extended Dance Version that is similar to “Baba O’Riley” by The Who. I am also slightly reminded a bit of “Run Runaway” by Slade, and ABBA with the vocals.
Thanks for the awesome quality and your hard work!

I have finally listend to this song. I had never heard it before but one thing I noticed (not sure if the album version is the same) but it includes interpolations of the song “Rasputin” by Boney M. 3 times throughout the song I can clearly identify the riff from the Boney M. song. Also, I don’t see Mr. Frank Farian (creator of Boney M. & Milli Vanilli) credited anywhere (which is strange because this guy is like Gene Simmons, they want to collect on ANYTHING that may even smell like something that’s theirs).

Paul, how did you know that I was looking for this?
It’s so crazy lately because you have been posting a lot of material that I’ve been looking for, and I haven’t even requested it! Thank you! Toto Coelo material is nearly impossible to find on CD or in high quality. “Dracula’s Tango” is a great song! This is very, very rare! This will be my first time hearing the “Extended Dance Version”.
Note that Barbarella did a cover of this song in 1989 with the title of just “Sucker For Your Love”.

It was quite a pop female group battle between Toto Coelo and Belle Stars during that period. I’d give Belle Stars the slight edge, especially since they produced the utterly utterly brilliant Sign Of The Times.
That is not to say I dislike Toto Coelo. I’m a fan of their campy New Wave Disco, and thought the sexually oral innuendo in their seemingly ditzy hits is just as utterly utterly brilliant!
Thanks Paul, for the making the best rip of this rare treat available!

I have “I Eat Cannibals & Other Tasty Trax” on CD if you want it, Paul. I know you only put vinyl rips up, but I figured that since it’s Halloween you’d want some of their other songs. Let me know and I’ll email you the mp3′s.
