Released in 1986 from the album Leather Jackets, “Heartache All Over The World” is characterized as full pop rock influenced by synth-pop and new wave, music styles which were very fashionable in the eighties. For the majority of the song Elton is merely singing, not playing any keyboards. “Heartache All Over The World” peaked at #55 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and #45 in the UK in 1986.
